HOLLY REAL ESTATE WELCOMES ONE OF SOUTH FLORIDA’S TOP BROKERS JIM MCCOY AS VICE PRESIDENT OF INVESTMENT SALES DIVISION

Miami, FL – Holly Real Estate (HRE) announced that it has formally created an Investment Sales Division. It will be led by Jim McCoy, who has joined the company as its Vice President of Investment Sales. McCoy is a former Miami Shores mayor and a top producer at his previous firm, where he closed more than $100 million in transactions in 2005 and 2006.

“With his experience, contacts and commitment to client service, Jim is a great candidate to lead and grow our Investment Sales Division. Having conducted business with Jim in the past I know his business practices mirror our company’s values,” said William H. Holly, Founder and CEO of Holly Real Estate.

McCoy was previously a broker with Capital Commercial Real Estate Group, where he focused on investment sales of commercial properties including multi-family, retail and office properties. In 2006, he received the company’s Top Listing Agent Award and Highest Paid Commission Award.

McCoy was on the Miami Shores Village Council for four years, two of which he served as the city’s mayor. His other community involvement includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Miami Shores Planning & Zoning Board from 2000-2001, and as President of the Greater Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce from 2001-2003.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Trinity University.
