Jim McCoy is the Vice President of Investment Sales at Holly Real Estate. Hired in August of 2007, McCoy is a former mayor of Miami Shores and was a top producer at his previous firm Capital Commercial Real Estate Group, effectively closing more than $100 million in transactions in the last two years.
As a broker McCoy has focused on investment sales of commercial properties including multi-family, retail and office properties. His success in handling transactions from $2 million to $55 million has earned him Top Producer, Top Listing Agent, and Highest Paid Commission Awards.
McCoy was elected mayor of Miami Shores Village in 2003 and served four years on the village council. His other community involvement includes serving as Vice Chairman of the Miami Shores Planning & Zoning Board from 2000-2001, and as President of the Greater Miami Shores Chamber of Commerce from 2001-2003.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Trinity University.
