Gerry Robbins serves as the financing and asset management Vice President for Holly Real Estate.

Previously Mr. Robbins was the Vice President, Senior Loan Originator for Istar Financial (formerly Fremont Investment and Loan); where he was responsible for originating business opportunities either directly or through a network of brokers, negotiating loan proposal/quotes, performing/overseeing the underwriting of the transaction, interfacing with credit committee/ construction department during the approval process, negotiating loan commitment, loan documents, and overseeing the closing of the loan.

Mr. Robbins closed over $1.2 billion loans over the past five years. Selected closed loans by property type include: office (from $8,400,000 to $62,250,000); apartments (from $14,300,000 to $28,500,000); condo construction (from $40,800,000 to $145,000,000); condo conversions (from $23,800,000 to $69,750,000); hotels (from $5,525,000 to $27,250,000); as well as several retail, industrial and flex space loans.

Gerry Robbins has been involved in all aspects of local and national lending, including production, credit underwriting, legal, appraisal review, deal structuring and closing loans. Over the past 15 years, he has been involved in financing healthcare facilities, medical office buildings, high-rise office buildings, and residential high-rises.

Prior to Istar, Gerry was at AmSouth Bank, where he was a credit review officer, and at SouthTrust bank, where he was an appraisal review officer and holds a M.B.A. in finance, as well as a B.S. degree in Management/ Finance from the University of Alabama.
